Ergin Çavuşoğlu participates at the ‘The Image Generator II Festival’ in Antwerp, showing his new video piece ‘Cinefication / Tarot and Chess’ along with a selection from his recent paintings. Organized by the collaboration of the Extra City Kunsthall, Lokaal 01, Kunst/Werk and Platform0090, the festival (05.02 – 07.02.2016) will be followed by an exhibition between 05.02 – 28.02.2016. Cavuşoğlu also gives an artist talk on the first day of the festival, February 5, at 18:30.
The third exhibition of the Guggenheim UBS MAP Global Art Initiative, “But a Storm Is Blowing from Paradise” features Ergin Çavuşoğlu. Organized by the institution’s curator Sara Raza, the exhibition will take place at Guggenheim Museum in New York between 29.04 – 05.10.2016. After its presentation in New York, the exhibition will travel to the Pera Museum in Istanbul in 2017.
